I love our school lunches! I never thought I would say that but the food at Gray is awesome! I heard about all the choices last year from older friends before starting the 6th grade this year, so I was excited to try it out. The biggest difference from elementary school is the amount of choices we have at Gray, there are so many different things to pick from for lunch.
There is the pizza and a hot lunch line. It has pizza every day and a different hot lunch to eat. There is also the grill which has the choice of burgers or spicy chicken with the option to pick between curly fries or tater tots. Then there is my favorite option, the South of the Border line with Mexican. In this line we get a choice of tacos or nachos with different choices for toppings. You can pick ground meat, chicken fajitas, refried beans, queso, cheese, corn, rice, lettuce, sour cream, etc. I usually get nachos with meat, refried beans, queso, rice and corn.
There are so many options, and everyone is good. There isn’t anything I have tasted from our school lunch that has tasted bad. I don’t bring my lunch anymore because I know there will always be something good to pick from school and I will like it! Gray Middle School has awesome lunches!!
